Refund Policy

1. Overview
At Best Web Makers ("we," "us," or "our"), we are committed to providing high-quality web design and development services. This Refund Policy details the terms and conditions under which refunds will be processed. Due to the custom nature of our work, our policy is based on project milestones and work completed.
This policy is a part of our main service agreement, and by engaging our services, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.
2. General Policy
Web development and design is a service-based industry. As such, once a project has commenced and work has been done, we cannot offer a full refund. Refunds are determined based on the project stage and the work already completed.
All projects begin with a detailed project proposal and service agreement that outlines the scope, deliverables, and payment milestones. This agreement will serve as the primary reference for any refund considerations.
3. Project Cancellation & Refund Eligibility
A. Cancellation by Client:
- Initial Deposit: The initial project deposit (typically 50% of the total project cost) is **non-refundable**. This deposit covers our initial discovery, project planning, resource allocation, and the commencement of design and development work.
- Cancellation Before Project Start: If you cancel the project within 48 hours of signing the service agreement and before any work has begun, we may, at our discretion, refund a portion of the initial deposit, minus a 10% administrative and processing fee.
- Cancellation After Project Start: If you decide to cancel the project after work has begun, any payments made for completed milestones (e.g., design approval, development phase) are non-refundable. You will only be required to pay for the work that has been completed up to the point of cancellation.
B. Cancellation by Best Web Makers:
In the unlikely event that Best Web Makers is unable to complete the project for any reason, we will provide a pro-rated refund for any work that has not been completed. We will discuss the specific circumstances with you to reach a fair resolution.
4. Non-Refundable Costs
Please note that certain costs are non-refundable under any circumstances. These include, but are not limited to:
- Domain name registration fees.
- Web hosting fees.
- Fees for third-party plugins, themes, or software purchased for your project.
- Fees for stock photography or other licensed assets.
5. Client Satisfaction and Revisions
We strive for client satisfaction and build a comprehensive revision process into every project. We provide mockups and development links so you can review and provide feedback at each stage.
Refunds will not be issued based on subjective preferences once a design or feature has been formally approved by you. We are committed to delivering a final product that meets the specifications outlined in the agreed-upon project scope.
6. Project Completion
Once the website has been completed, approved by you, and formally launched, no refunds will be provided. Any further work or support will be governed by a separate Maintenance or Support Agreement.
7. How to Request a Review
To request a refund review or to discuss a project cancellation, you must submit a written request to our official contact email. Your request should detail the reasons for the cancellation and the specific issues encountered.
